We are a group of individuals and families who meet every month, because we have a common interest in FISH. We are not experts or scientists, although our levels of experience and knowledge varies enormously and an age range from about 7 years to those who have retired, and have more time to enjoy their hobby. Membership is not restricted to Corby indeed we have members from all over the area, Burton Latimer, Broughton, Desborough, Kettering, Sydney (Australia), Vancouver (Canada) and Malta, to name but a few.
At these monthly meetings we have talks by experts in their field, slide/lectures, inter-society challenges with other societies, all of course with a fish theme. We also have a small ‘Table Show’ where members bring along fishes to show and have judged, hopefully winning a small trophy which is presented at the end of the year at our Annual Presentation Night. We try to hold a couple of purely social evenings during the year.
We also stage one of the largest annual Open Shows within the F.B.A.S. (Federation of British Aquatic Societies). This event attracts entries from all over the country, with several hundreds of fish arriving on the show bench on the day, in every shape, size and colour that you can imagine?
Our next Open Show will be held on Sunday 11th May 2008, usual place, and usual rules apply.

Also, we produce a small monthly magazine, in which there are details of what is going on, and where. A variety of articles, some serious and informative, some jocular, cartoons and of course minutes of meetings etc. Hopefully, in the near future, it will be reproduced here on this website.
