First joined C.A.D.A.S. in 1964, following a short period with Leicester Aquarist Society. Has held and served the club in the following positions over the years:-
President, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Show Secretary, Open Show Secretary and Magazine Editor.
Has been and still is in some cases, a member of the A.A.G.B, Catfish Group of Great Britain, International Characin Association, Northern Catfish Group, ANGFA (Australian New Guinea Fishes Association) and the Catfish Study Group UK.
Was trained as a judge by the now defunct E.M.A.A.S group of societies in the early 1970's, and became an F.B.A.S. 'A' Class Tropical, 'B' Class Coldwater Judge in 1976, was also briefly the Chairman of the J.& S. committee of the F.B.A.S.
Carole and I bought our first Tropical Aquarium soon after we were married in 1958. Currently we have a fish house holding approximately 60 aquariums, in which numerous species are kept and bred. Those still being bred and those bred during the last couple or so years designated *.
